THE ROLE

We're looking for and talented engineer hungry for solving business problems, and excited to work in one of the most impressive platforms in the business. We are all about micro-services, AWS, and serious scale. We want our engineers to move comfortably between product and platform development, and our Senior and Tech Leads to have the vision to see what is coming before anyone else.

The flagship of our stack is our state-of-the-art micro-service platform: Go, RabbitMQ, ZooKeeper, Cassandra, NSQ, Memcached, and Java form the backbone of our technology. Our web stack includes Javascript, React, some Angular, PHP, and MySQL. Add to that Puppet, Jenkins, continuous integration, and a lot of automated tests with Selenium and Cucumber, and you got the picture: we deal with a lot of technologies.

Skills & requirements
If you are an excellent developer, you are half-way there. Knowing Golang is the ultimate goal, but if you are proficient in C, C++, Java, or any top language, we trust you can pick up Go in a flash.

Experience in the following areas and technologies are all welcomed:
- Go
- Cassandra
- Web Services and Micro-Service Oriented Architecture
- Messaging and locking patterns (ZeroMQ, RabbitMQ, NSQ, Zookeeper etc)
- Passion for maintainable, extensible, and reusable code as well as fast iteration
- Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms

On the soft side, we expect you to lead some young and very bright developers, imparting on them your wisdom, your knowledge of best practices, and that perfect mix of “just getting things done” and “doing it the right way”.
