Software Development Engineer (CARD816/851)

Position Overview
Here is your chance to fight cyber criminals and make the internet a safer place! We're looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer to be part of a malicious/phishing threat team to detect the latest threats and block it at the gateway level before reaching our customers. You will have the chance to work with AV, IPS, IDS, BDS. This is the time to make an impact in the world of network security.

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve various existing services/engines
Follow latest trend of malware/botnet etc. develop solutions

Skills & requirements
Job Skills Required:
Extensive programming experience in Java and scripting language like perl/python.
Hands on experience in database design/operation/maintenance and MySQL.
Sound knowledge of Linux/Linux programming, networking protocols and system design.
Expert in Network Programming
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JQuery
Web site crawler concepts and experience an asset
Experience in AWS, Golang, PHP, Java, Javascript, QT or webkit a plus
Deep appreciation and understanding of how web service work together, include HTTP, REST, XMLRPC, JSON
Strong full-stack development and technology foundations that show your effectiveness
Ability to deliver products and features rather than just writing code
Willingness and flexibility to use other programming languages or tools most appropriate to the task
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal
Education Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fiel
