Job description
Couchbase is a leader in NoSQL database space. We build the next generation of databases, highly scalable and flexible. The Bangalore Development Center is responsible for several key areas in the core database product. We are primarily a product development center and aim to hire the brightest talent in Bangalore.

We're looking to hire a test engineer in our engineering team. You will initially focus on testing indexing and query testing, primarily developing tests (functional and performance) in Python and Go.

Responsibilities:
Own testing of core areas or features of the product
Develop automated functional and performance tests
Coordinate testing and release efforts

Skills & requirements
Requirements:
Proficiency in Python and C (or Go)
Familiarity with modern testing frameworks
Detail oriented and good analytical skills
Understanding of database concepts and components

Good to Have:
Working C++, Ruby and Go skills
Prior experience testing infrastructure components
Prior open source contributions
