Job description
Couchbase is a leader in NoSQL database space. We build the next generation of databases, highly scalable and flexible. The Bangalore Development Center is responsible for several key areas in the core database product. We are primarily a product development center and aim to hire the brightest talent in Bangalore.

We're looking to hire a senior engineer in our engineering team. You will initially focus on indexing and query problems, primarily coding in Go and C++ and working to optimize data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities:
Own core areas or features of the product
Write tens of thousands of lines of code
Be a leader in the technology space you own
Innovate and create new value

Skills & requirements
Requirements:
Top coding skills in several modern languages
Familiarity with Database Internals and Theory
Expert level proficiency in C and C++ is a must
Deep and insightful code organization skills is a must

Good to Have:
Prior open source contributions are a major plus
Familiarity with Go language is a plus
