About the company
Mailchain brings email-like messaging to the decentralised web. It enables users to send messages to other blockchain addresses on any blockchain.

The use cases include messaging smart contract owners, contacting digital asset owners, delivering invoices and receipts, and handling encrypted messages.

Our mission is to implement an Open Source standard that brings secure, decentralised messaging to the decentralised web. We are making it possible for decentralised app or DApp developers to easily implement email-like messages, natively, into their own applications and smart contracts, delivering a better, more secure user experience.

With founders who have decades of experience in software development projects, building startups, and growing skills and talent, we are expanding the existing team to support this ambitious and global vision.

Job description
Introduction:
It’s still early days for decentralised applications and blockchain technologies. We’re excited to be part of the builders laying the infrastructure that future generations will leverage. We want others who share our vision to join us!

Our roadmap is driven by our community and lays out our future features and plans.

We are also working in partnership with some key blockchain protocol foundations, and look to a close a bigger round of funding in early 2020 to help make Mailchain into sustainable platform for sending messages using blockchain protocols.

With founders who have decades of experience in software development projects, building startups, and growing skills and talent, we are expanding the existing team to support this ambitious and global vision.

Technical skills and talent:
- Passion for working with backend technologies and APIs.
- Experience writing Golang.
- Experience with Git.
- Some basic knowledge of blockchain concepts.

Tasks:
- Implementing new features.
- Improving existing functionality.
- Implementing the API endpoints.
