Kyperion is an online platform with web and mobile access designed for athletics, cycling and swimming training companies (clubs, teams, coaches, etc.). Kyperion makes that coaches and sportmen and women work together in a unique site. We leverage the quality of training plans from amateur to professional/elite level by providing to the coach tools for creating, managing and customizing training plans and automatically importing data from hundreds of devices used by the athlete (Garmin, Polar, TomTom, Suunto and many other data providers).

Communication and planning is simple providing the scalable factor the coaches need to grow and increase their revenues.

Job description
As a Senior Backend Engineer, your role will be to apply your expertise of application development based on a set of product requirements. Such requirements will include api endpoints and product definition documents to create a fully functioning and robust application.

Your primary focus will be on the development of the application API, making all decisions in relation to implementation, providing expert knowledge, and team collaboration on coding standards and reviews. You will work directly on a day-to-day basis with a software development life cycle to ensure that the delivery of the product is timely and that the product itself is of high quality.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycles

Experience with Go, go-micro, mongodb/redis/elasticsearch, open source software, and cloud services

Ability to operate in a startup environment and execute in the presence of ambiguity and change

Talented leader who can become a key player in our organization
