Job position
Permanent - Remote work possible

Job description
Go developer required to join an exciting Los Angeles start-up (remote and shared workspace work). Get in early to really make a difference on green-field components in a unique market niche. You will design and implement cutting-edge distributed, scale-out data infrastructure software systems that will run on-prem and in the cloud. You will get to help drive technology decisions and have room to play with emerging tech to see what best fits. Work in an open and honest team who understand the need to have a healthy mix of different things to work on.

Skills & requirements
Love of Go required, with some good experience.

Smart agile development practices.

Knowledge and experience building and consuming RESTful JSON APIs.

Test-driven development (TDD) and experience with a Go testing package a plus.

Knowledge of modern software stacks and dev-ops a positive like CoreOS, Docker, etcd, etc.

Open source contributions appreciated, please share your GitHub username.

Knowledge and/or experience with messaging queues (like RabbitMQ or NSQ) a bonus.

Some XP practices will be employed from time to time (without going too far) such a pair programming for knowledge sharing.
