Job description
Sentient has built the largest compute grid dedicated to distributed Artificial Intelligence. And we're making it bigger. Much, much bigger.

We're applying cutting-edge techniques in deep learning, computer vision, distributed computing, and evolutionary algorithms to solve problems in finance, e-commerce, healthcare, and other domains. Previously, the Sentient team led applications of AI and machine learning to diverse problems, from the CALO project that underpins Siri to the design of new drugs. The applications are dizzying and fantastic.

Skills & requirements
Our stack is Go, Thrift, Angular, Docker, VirtualBox, PostgreSQL and Linux. You need not have direct experience with Go, but you must be very experienced with an OO language such as Java, C++, C# or Python, and be excited to learn and use Go. Generally, you should have a thirst for new technology and exploring new development ideas.

You must have experience building multi-threaded and event-driven systems that use message passing and message queuing. You should have solid understanding of containers, virtual machines, data encryption and security concerns. You should have experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases at scale, and experience with Linux. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are highly desirable, as are great written and verbal communication skills.
