Austin, Texas, United States

About the company
We create business intelligence software for the agriculture industry.
A small vibrant and well-funded startup founded by Stanford alumni is searching for a back end engineer. We are looking to establish an office in Austin, TX. Competitive salary with full benefits including 401k match.
Our backend stack is Django/Python, Go, and PostgreSQL. If you would like to code in Go 100% of the time, that's perfectly fine too. We will be moving parts of the python code to Go.
You'll have a lot of say when it comes to architecting and building the backend. We will be moving to a service oriented architecture. You'll enjoy the freedom of using the technology you deem best to build the backend.
Help tackle concurrency issues, develop our REST API and apply business logic. Our website is not open to the public so you won't get much information from it. I can give you a lot more detail once we connect.
Considered a plus: AWS, Docker and Data Warehousing experience.
Aspiring full-stack engineers of all types are also welcome to apply.
