Go odd-jobs for fundraising platform (eventual full-time a possibility!) at Raise Awareness Ltd
London, United Kingdom
🇬🇧 (Posted Sep 20 2014)
About the company
Start-up in London. Run by experienced founders with multiple successful exits. This is a big project with a very small team - this is definitely a "ground floor" opportunity.
- Remote work possible
We're launching a fundraising platform in London late October. See http://fundary.com for a totally pre-alpha overview.
I'm looking for a sharp Go coder who can be "another me" to begin with, working on a widespread # of tasks that could include anything from writing a PayPal API interface, to detecting nudity in an uploaded image, to wiring up our front-end Angular with Go web sockets.
Remote work is fine; pay would be freelance, based on time or fixed cost, via PayPal. I'm looking for someone who can be available on Skype and is comfortable with autonomy, is happy with short deadlines and randomly sporadic and somewhat varied work.
This role could quickly lead to a more permanent position if you're open to it and we prove to be a good fit.
Skills & requirements
The stack we're using is pretty much: Golang, PostgreSQL, Angular.js on the front-end, Docker, EC2. Strong familiarity with each of those a plus.
Fluent/technical English a must.
Note: There are tight deadlines with this job, and you would need to be available pretty much right away, and daily for at least the following 30 days... through Skype during your normal business hours.
Instructions how to apply
Just mail me a link to your Github or equivalent repo of sample work to email@example.com and a little bit about your background. No need for a formal CV - your code says it all. Would also need to know your availability, and your pay expectations.
