Ardent Blue Technologies is a software development and staff augmentation company doing business since 2011. We have secured well recognized Fortune 500 clients in a number of domains including game development, game/film/architecture tools, game anti-cheat, IoT, VR and others.

Our client is presently looking for a Senior Go/Devops Engineer to help develop their hosting platform via new network automation solutions. The ideal candidate has DevOps expertise, excels at using Go to employ solutions in this area and has a grasp of fundamental network infrastructure and bare metal administration.

This is a full-time remote contract role. Candidates in the Netherlands are preferred, however EU candidates who are otherwise an excellent match will be considered. No Visa support.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create custom tools for network automation.
- Create and maintain API’s for network automation services.
- Optimize global networks for latency and bandwidth.
- Migrate legacy systems to use new technologies.
- Integrate with external network automation tools.
- Add and analyze metrics/visibility.
- Meet daily to provide progress visibility and collaborate with team members.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

- Excellent or Fluent English.
- 6 years of combined professional, full-time experience across Golang and IT/DevOps.
- Experience managing networks outside of the cloud (e.g. bare metal or VM’s).
- A portfolio including significant contributions to complex and notable products.
- Professional experience working with networking and/or devops: ideally automation, configuration, performance optimization, orchestration, security.
- Experience building API’s and services in Go.
- Preferred: Experience in high-load environments.
- Preferred: Ability to work in PHP is a plus.
