Job description
Our client is an award-winning AI Startup in the heart of London. Their product, which is an open software and research platform as well as the hardware personal robot, is set to revolutionise the world of AI assistants and has already won multiple innovation awards.

They have multiple positions for backend engineers to join their team. Their stack includes C++, Python and Go using Docker in AWS.

As a Backend Engineer, you’ll be using Go and Python to build complex SW systems - developing new and existing features for their AI Robot alongside experts in machine learning and artificial intelligence. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team of experienced developers and researchers, establishing architectural principles and selecting design patterns. You don’t need previous experience in AI or machine learning for this role. They’re looking for creative problem solvers who are proactive and adaptable within a fast-paced environment.

Skills & requirements
Essential:

- Experience with either Golang or Python

- Experience building key-value or relational databases.

- Familiarity with REST frameworks

Bonuses:

- Familiarity with Docker and AWS

- Understanding of continuous testing procedures

- Understanding of ML Models (SVM, regression, random forests)
