Job description
Improvement and development of our internal Go-based applications and services
Support our network engineering and network operations departments as well as customer needs

Skills & requirements
Fluency in English required, German a plus
Proficient in Golang and/or C/C++, Javascript, git
Ability and willingness to adopt new languages and technologies quickly
Proficient with wide area IP/MPLS Network Design and day to day operations of a large network
Comprehension of network and network management protocols including BGP, ISIS, MPLS and RSVP, NETCONF, SNMP and netflow
Proficient with network-related algorithms and computation from 95th percentile to path optimization
Experience with management of time series data
Ability to work with network protocols at a bit level
Experience with building a distributed, fault tolerant system
Experience with Network Equipment from Juniper, Cisco and other vendors at a CLI level
Expertise in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems and networks
Understanding of Unix/Linux systems from kernel to shell, internal systems and networking Experience with algorithms, data structures and software design
Systematic problem solving approach, with a strong sense of ownership
Ability to work independently
5+ years in technical back-end development
5+ years’ experience as a Network Engineer in a Network Engineering department
