Right now, we’re looking for an ace Associate Director, Media Systems and Technology – someone who can take the reins for the Media department, own key accounts and develop strong bonds with clients and internal teams alike. The Media Systems and Technology team covers a lot of technology stacks. We prefer OSS solutions but also have many .NET and other closed source platforms. We created and are in charge of DigitasLBi’s two Apache Hadoop clusters – Boston and London - which DigitasLBi statisticians use for true “Big Data” analyses and tool creation. Primary engineer and manager of DigitasLBi’s media performance reporting services. Currently a VM-based, Python, PostgreSQL, R, and Tableau stack, we are enhancing the solution moving to an AWS EC2, PostgreSQL RDS, and Redshift stack. We will be migrating and enhancing Python ETL code to Go.

Primary engineer and manager of a survey tracking and analysis database for a large client.

You will maintain and develop new reporting and analysis solutions for our clients as needed.

Writing readable code. Clean, readable code that other engineers can understand.

Participate with your team to solve problems, provide options when presented with problems.

Understand how to identify tasks and scope out effort estimates for tasks.

Participate in the creation, maintenance and adherence to engineering best practices.

Always be driven to build great solutions, to always be learning and evolving

Some knowledge/experience with BI tools such as Tableau, BusinessObjects, QlikView, etc. Experience in leading other team members in technical approach, effort estimation, build, testing and deployment. Mindful of data security and privacy issues

Eager to learn new technologies. Excited to try new things.
