$85,000 - $140,000 USD

Job description
We are looking for an experienced API developer with proficiency in Python, Golang, Docker and Kubernetes to join our rapidly expanding CoreWeave Conductor cloud rendering team. Our mission is to lead the transition from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based, infinitely scalable and on-demand resources for VFX and Animation rendering, simulation and beyond.

Job Responsibilities
Works with backend and frontend teams to roadmap and design new APIs to create value for customers
Defines and communicates technical and design requirements
Anticipate risks and develop mitigation strategies, assigning ownership of components of solutions
Encourages and promotes ideas/opinions of others from diverse backgrounds and experiences
Identifies, builds, and leverages strategic, collaborative, and trusting relationships across teams

Requirements:
2+ years of Python and/or Go experience
2+ years in RESTful API development experience
1+ years of experience working with Kubernetes
Linux Operating System experience
Problem-solving abilities for recognizing technical issues and developing appropriate solutions

Nice-to-haves:
Experience with API gateways
Experience with RPCs and binary protocols
Experience with AWS and Google Cloud
Experience with distributed systems development, e.g. pub-sub messaging, polling data versus event-based data streams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $140,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
