Job description
As a Software Engineer at Redeam, you will be a member of the Engineering team that ultimately reports to the Chief Technology Officer.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
Design, develop and implement current and future functionality for the company’s
strategic applications
Propose technology solutions to enable the business to meet/exceed goals
Complete challenging projects in a timely fashion
Deliver a robust self-service environment for the end user community
Evaluate new technologies and techniques that can be applied to enhance the
product offering

Experience and Skills
4 to 8 years of experience in development, including application architecture and
design
Minimum 2 years of experience in Go
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject, or equivalent
work experience.Experience delivering web-based technology solutions to meet
business needs
Experience developing highly concurrent/high throughput software
Experience developing highly available/redundant software
At least 2 years coding in a web-based application
Proficiency in:
○ *nix OS,
○ design patterns
○ asynchronous messaging
○ MVC
○ Unit testing
○ Web Services, SOAP or REST based
○ Database design and engines
○ XML and JSON message formats
Excellent team skills, can-do attitude, focus on quality and drive to make a
difference in a dynamic, fast paced organization

Nice to Haves
Knowledge of GCP, Helm, Kubernetes, Continuous Integration/Delivery
Tours/Activities industry experience
