About the company Acronis is a global cyber protection company focusing on unifying data protection and cybersecurity to protect all data, applications and systems.
Do they allow remote work?
Remote work is possible, see the description below for more information.
Our team is seeking an experienced developer who may or may not already know Golang to work on some exciting projects. We are Arizona R&D, a critical platform team developing the next-generation Acronis application platform. We're developing eventing, a data synchronization framework for applications which span management domains, backend for frontend capabilities to power a generalized and reusable UI, and more. We're working heavily with Golang, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, GraphQL and more.
We're Tempe-based, but we've been remote for over a year and are open to remote, US-based, applicants as well. We'd prefer someone who can meet up in person in Tempe, AZ occasionally rather than 100% remote, because during these crazy times we realized that while remote work is great, it's nice to meet face to face occasionally too. But, for the right engineer with the right fit, let's talk. While our team is based in Tempe, you'll also work closely with engineers in Singapore and Europe as we are a globally distributed development organization.
We're growing fast and already have a solid golang-based team that's been delivering reliably, so it's a great environment for somebody wanting to step into distributed, cloud systems, solving hard problems with cool technologies. We're self-managed and approaching full internal self-sufficiency (adding a frontend developer this round). We have a lot of freedom and independence to focus on engineering in a collegial environment, and a lot of momentum as a successful team internally.
