Job description
Chango is seeking an energetic, motivated and intelligent software developer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team. The Chango platform is built to seamlessly integrate data management with media buying. This technology leverages multiple inputs - from web and customer data to social network activity and first-party proprietary data sources. Data inputs are enhanced with the Chango Proprietary Search database - a storehouse of over 8+ billion search events from Google, Yahoo!, and Bing.

About the Role

This is an intermediate to senior role that requires someone who has a lot of energy and enthusiasm to develop the next big thing in Online Advertising. You must be a self-starter who is highly analytical, and shows meticulous attention to detail. You will be working on an exciting product, contributing to different aspects of the system as required with room for growth into more senior positions.

You will gain exposure to a high transaction real-time system that processes over 450,000 requests per second.

You will be working on Chango's real-time bidding, data collection, and ad server technologies. You'll get to play around with with a highly tuned infrastructure optimized for super low latency and high transaction rates.

Skills & requirements
Three (or more) years of experience in server-side software development

Bachelors degree (or higher) in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Experience with Python or other dynamic languages, and C / C++

Experience with Non-blocking Web Frameworks such as Tornado or TwistedWeb

Experience with Go, Erlang or Java is a plus

Experience with the Unix / Linux environment

Experience with automated testing tools and continuous integration

Experience with the complete HTTP life-cycle.

Experience with Relational and Non-relational databases
