About the company
Cloud, Containers and Machine Learning are changing standards in today’s IT environments. Movere is a SaaS product that enables organizations to achieve cloud adoption and containerization swiftly and efficiently, and all that data generated along the way is collected, aggregated and anonymized to pave the way for further technology advances.
We are growing our engineering team! Come be a part of a startup engineering team that builds cutting-edge discovery, cloud migration and monitoring tools. We need a fearless geek that is a cross-platform application developer fluent in Golang. DevOps should be in your DNA, and capturing metrics across distributed platforms, workloads and cloud providers should get you excited.
A typical week in your new life:
Mondays will be focused on our Inventory bots. They are designed to capture system and software data from vms, hypervisors, workstations, and even containers running on Windows and Linux.
Tuesday is all about monitoring. Our ARC bots are capturing metrics from all the above platforms and displaying them in real time. You will also be working closely with our data team and apply ML in order to find even the slightest deviation that users should be alerted on.
Wednesdays you may be working on our orchestrator, the heart of our Discovery as it is responsible for launching thousands of bots per hour and making sure that they deliver the results needed, while logging and monitoring their health. If a new version of the bots is available, the orchestrator is also responsible for updating the bots that are out and about.
Thursdays is all about security. From the layer of communication between bots and orchestrator, all the way to the cloud and further, our customers expect all the data that we capture and store on their behalf to be encrypted and void of any PII.
Fridays is all about what you want to work on and learn. If there’s a project you want to pursue and contribute to. If opensource is your game or even if you want to write on our blog, we support you!
Here is the same in the old fashion way:
Windows/Linux app engineer.
Prior experience with writing discovery, inventory and monitoring tools/plugins is desired (SCCM, Altiris, Bigfix, LanDesk, LanSweeper – okay); (DataDog, Sysdig – better); (Telegraf, New Relic – best).
Comfortable in a start-up/fast-paced environment where working independently is your vibe.
Good team player, you will be part of a family of experienced engineers
Ensure that we are continuously raising our standard of excellence by implementing best practices, evaluating new technologies and happy to perform code-reviews.
