Job description
Backend/application engineer for connected car platform

Skills & requirements
Mandatory
------------
Bachelor of Computer or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
Comfortable with multiple programming languages (JavaScript, Go, Python, etc.).
Experience developing web applications that are proven in production to scale horizontally
Preference for code that is clean, modular, and well-tested
A grasp of RESTful API principles and working knowledge of common authentication/authorization practices
Experience with RDMS and NoSQL databases in production

Preferred
------------
Experience with some subset of
Node.js, Go, Python
Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes)
Event bus oriented architectures like AMQP (RabbitMQ)
Cassandra
Ember.js
Portfolio of applications that clearly demonstrates coding proficiency, eye for quality, understanding of security, and attention to performance. Preferred sources: Github profile, public blog, etc.
