We are looking for a Go Architect/Senior Engineer to help us build a platform that fosters welcoming, inclusive community spaces on journalistic websites and beyond. Our goal is establishing a core platform as a foundation for site-based communities, with a well-defined model for extensions.
Our preferred applicants are excited by the prospect of helping us build an open source, scalable, stable, secure platform that will allow developers and organizations to realize highly customized and engaging communities.
Skills & requirements
The ability to make architectural decisions based on product needs
A deep understanding of Go and the ability to write code that works well, is maintainable, and is a pleasure for others to work with
Experience in and passion for building composable, extendable and welcoming code bases
Experience engaging the open source community would be a huge plus
