Hey all! I’m a recruiter and I have exclusive business with a client that did over $3B in sales revenue last year. They’re 10 years old with 600 employees, they’re privately owned and are looking to double their engineering team in just a couple months. Company has startup vibes but they are highly profitable. Every candidate I have placed (9 placements so far) has nothing but good things to say. We're looking for Engineering Managers, Directors, Principals, and Staff level Gophers, one Jr role is available. Looking for ideally about at least 8 years overall professional software engineering experience but if you are more Mid/Jr, we may have room for you too. We currently have exclusive business and are ready to rock and roll! The role entails projects such as taking a legacy app written in Python and creating a nice beautiful app with added functionality that's written in Go. Other projects include creating APIs that facilitate their eCommerce affiliate platform and cart check-out system. This is a permanent position and average time to hire from initial contact with candidate is 2 weeks. Developer must write high-quality code that is robust and easy to maintain with tests. There are two interviews and done, there will be no whiteboarding. Client is willing to train qualified candidates with as little as a year of Go experience.

Required qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years professional software development experience.
• Management/Lead experience.
• Minimum 1 year Go experience.

Preferred qualifications - experience with:
• AWS (ECS, RDS, Lambda, etc)
• Able to read Python
• 3rd party APIs (REST)
• Working in a containerized environment (Docker or Kubernetes)

From what I’ve seen, salary bands from Jr. to Director are anywhere from $145k-$220k + Bonus + Equity. This is based off my past experience so please take that with a grain of salt. I will be able to provide more accurate salary bands after reviewing your resume. Bonus is guaranteed and compensation is based on ability. If you are very high Director level, please send your resume & salary requirements and I promise not to waste your time. Client is highly competitive with cash and total compensation, they value retention and the equity component is designed for this. I wish I had more information on the equity element but I have been informed by previous candidates that it is often more than base and that it is life changing. Equity discussed after NDA signed.
