Job description
At Vertical Mass we’re building a Data Management Platform that has scaled to analyzing hundreds of millions of data points and tens of millions of unique new users every month. As one of our Software Engineers, you will be joining our five-man team as we scale our technology even further.

We’re looking for someone who cares that his or her code is readable, scales well and gets the job done! We use a variety of technologies including: Go, InfluxDB, NSQ, PostgreSQL, Redis and RethinkDB.
As a key member of our team you will be:
Developing external APIs to be consumed by major brands such as Interscope, Spotify, and Universal Music
Helping scale an infrastructure that is already being used by some of the largest social brands on Facebook and Twitter
Working on systems that handle hundreds of millions of events and tens of millions of unique users every month

Skills & requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or similar
Either existing knowledge of Go (Golang) or a deep knowledge of at least 2 or more programming languages
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and/or frameworks.
Bonus Points
DevOps skills (Bash, config management tools)
Experience with distributed systems
A Github account (we love open source)
