What We Are Looking For
We are seeking to appoint a proficient Golang engineer to take ownership over key domains within our codebase and work with a high level of autonomy while working amicably with other engineers to manage key architectural changes that affect other domains in our codebase. Broad responsibilities for the role include:

Strong knowledge of Golang with demonstrated experience in:
using the standard library for developing web servers.
use of popular web frameworks such as Echo or Gin.

You will also need experience in:
deploying golang applications on container technologies such as docker or podman.
version control using Git.
developing in a devops team with frequent releases through CICD pipelines.
microservices architectures (with kubernetes is a big plus, but serverless technologies such as lamba or azure functions are still relevant).

Applicants will need to have the unrestricted right to work in Australia to be eligible for this role
Successful applicants will need to be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance as part of our final stages of the recruitment process

Tech Stack
Our SaaS solution tech stack is Azure, mongoDB, Kubernetes, Elastic, microservices (written in golang), nginx, Angular (TypeScript)

For this role we are primarily seeking someone to help build out our existing set of golang APIs, but we operate as full stack developers so would be looking to extend the applicants abilities to be across the full stack. As a developer in the Cloud team you will be responsible for all stages of the development cycle, from enhancing the CICD pipelines with k8s resource definition files to software changes in our backend and frontend to provide new features to our customers and everything in between.
