YOUR MISSION
Develop state-of-the-art REST APIs with Go, Docker, AWS Lambda and Fargate
Integrate a variety of external APIs (e.g. Payment, ERP)
Help us to improve our internal administrative tools to manage our machines, products, orders and customers
Continue to develop our technology stack and make us even stronger for the future
Take immediate responsibility and help to shape the future of Foodji

Your profile
Necessary: You have experience in Go and MongoDB
First experience with AWS Lambda, Fargate and Docker
Ideally, you also bring knowledge of Ionic, Cordova/Capacitor and app development
You are looking forward to a real start-up experience and your own projects
You are characterized by your ability to take responsibility and work independently

Our Tech-Stack
Our platform is powered by the AWS Serverless Stack (Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB), MongoDB, Redshift, Rekognition, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions and Docker. These cutting-edge technologies allow us to deploy and scale fast and easily without much of the classic dev ops hassle. Everything is monitored by our custom monitoring system, Pingdom, CloudWatch, constantly analyzing KPIs of our Foodjis .
Our cloud backends as well as the machine software operating on our IoT foodjis in the field are running on GoLang. For predicting future sales and inventory, we utilize state-of-the-art machine learning models in Python, for computational vision detections, we mostly use AWS Rekognition trained on pictures taken from multiple cameras inside our Foodjis.
Our mobile app for iOS and Android, as well as our touchscreen software are using Ionic in combination with Angular and Capacitor to bring our users the best experience in an efficient and modern way. We’re using React with Tailwind for our brand new dashboard, allowing our team to access all relevant data of the Foodji cloud.
We’re integrating a variety of third-party services like payment providers, ticketing systems and analytics tools via RESTful apis and shared data warehousing.
We empower our teams by sharing knowledge in our Engineering Meetings and Engineering Talks.

About us
We are a foodtech startup from the heart of Munich and market leader in our field. We are passionate about fresh, healthy and above all delicious food and believe that this should not be offered exclusively in the canteens of the 40 DAX corporations, but should also be available to the employees of small and medium-sized companies in Germany. Those who work in shifts; the students at university who are still poring over books late at night and also the travelers in hotels, at the airport or train station - it is them that we would like to make everyday life easier for.

In addition, we want to act as sustainably as possible and have set ourselves the goal of preventing food waste, because currently in the food industry unfortunately still 30-40% of the goods are thrown away. That's why we "foodjis" are not only food lovers, but also tech nerds. Because only smart technology, self-learning algorithms and efficient supply chains can solve the paradox between freshness, availability and sustainability.

Since our market entry in 2020, we have been able to win around 200 customers throughout Germany. These customers include Lufthansa, Tesla, and Vivantes, among others. In Germany alone, there are more than 100,000 relevant locations for us.
