Job description
We're looking for experienced software engineers to help us build out features that will make Pyroscope a key part of companies performance monitoring suite.

Our roadmap here will give you an idea of what we're currently working on and planning for in the near future and as we continue to grow the team we have many more ideas for future projects that will have a major impact for our customers.
Requirements

2+ years of experience as Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, SRE, or some related field
Ability to communicate effectively: This means documenting code changes, writing thorough issues/tickets on Github, asking questions, etc.
Experience with Go or Rust: Pyroscope's backend is written in Go so we're looking for someone who has used Go in production and can write performant, clean, Go code. We're also considering porting over several pieces of our code into rust so rust experience is a plus!
Familiarity with observability tools: Pyroscope is frequently used to monitor application performance alongside various observability tools (i.e. Grafana, Prometheus, Jaeger, etc). So, we're looking for someone who understands the context of when and how these tools are used and how Pyroscope can fit into those workflows.

Nice to have:

Experience with Docker
SRE / DevOps experience
Database experience
Solid CS knowledge, particularly understanding of data structures (we use trees/tries extensively)
