Location: Remote - US (EST) and London, UK

Our growing team of Go Developers are currently developing a highly distributed system with a microservices architecture that is depended upon by the majority of applications within the business. We are looking for a software developer that has a passion for Go development and producing quality code in an environment that will empower you to continue to develop your skillset. You will be given a real voice in design and development and will collaborate with your colleagues to deliver a best in class solution. This role is open remotely to the US (EST) and UK.

What you will do
Develop highly concurrent and distributed systems;
Performance optimization and problem diagnosis;
Designing/Developing for high availability;
Supporting release and documentation of developed features;
Help to define coding standards and development processes;
Participate / Contribute to upstream open-source projects.
Develop and maintenance real-time communication & distributed systems
Test-driven development
Handling end to end product delivery (Document, Design, TDD, Code, CI/CD, Maintenance)

What is required for application
Must be a US/UK Citizen or Green Card holder
Experience working on best in class systems with Go
An excellent understanding of concurrent, highly distributed systems
Excellent understanding of microservices, and event-driven backends
Willingness to get hands dirty and not afraid of low-level details
Ability to carefully break down the problem in small pieces
Ability to effectively communicate problems and solutions to the different team members
Build scalable and maintainable software
