Job description
You will be part of the Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) team who provides a SaaS platform for our internal development teams to run their application and services. We are currently seeking an Azure DevOps Engineer who will bring experience in deploying and operating cloud infrastructure at scale. The candidate needs to understand concepts and best practices in terms of automation, high availability, security, capacity planning, system performance evaluation, and diagnostic techniques and methodologies to aid in operations of development and production environments.

Additional Responsibilities
Work with engineering on production deployments and help optimize the current Azure cloud footprint
Develop new terraform modules to be used by engineering teams
Build automation workflows to enable scalability and operational efficiency
Create deployment and operations standards and track adherence
Improve the security posture of our Cloud Platform
Resolve escalated incidents related to issues in the CI/CD pipelines and Azure infrastructure

Your Qualification
University degree in Information Security or Computer Science
3+ years of professional work experience in building and operating Microsoft Azure. This would include, but not limited to, design and operations of:
Azure Kubernetes Service
Azure Serverless (Functions and Logic Apps)
Azure Compute and Storage
Azure Log Analytics\Monitor
Azure Networking
Full ability to design, write, test, and release code in general-purpose languages such as Go, Python, and scripting (Bash, Powershell)
Experience with automated provisioning, orchestration, and deployment of resources in Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code (preferably Terraform).
Experience with microservices deployments (kubernetes, helm charts, blue green deployments)
Experience with GitHub actions or Azure pipelines
Experience with Defender for Cloud (formerly known as Azure Security Center)
Familiarity with native Microsoft technologies like Windows Active Directory, DNS, SCCM, etc.
