Job description
We are looking for a (Senior) Software Engineer (Golang) (f/m/d) to join our "Vendor Tech" team. Contribute to the creation of our next-generation platform, that helps our partners - such as restaurants but also local shops - to scale their business. Work on our internal ad tech or vendor portal system or try to build the tech stack for new business opportunities of our partners. Your mission:

• 
  You will work on the vendor and operational platforms to help restaurants and local shops to operate more efficiently. You will implement various services that will communicate synchronously as well as asynchronously with other backends and with pluggable UI systems.
• 
  You are not shying away from building reliable, scalable systems with high concurrency and are always eager to learn new languages & technologies. Your decisions will make an impact since your ideas & efforts do matter.
• 
  You are not afraid to build global systems that are used by thousands of people and constantly drive for excellence.

Your heroic skills:

• 
  Golang expert in the context of distributed systems and services.
• 
  At least 3 year experience in large-scale applications.
• 
  A rock-solid foundation in Computer Science (data structures, algorithms, software design).
• 
  Ability to work in a UNIX-like environment.
• 
  Familiar with common monitoring / alerting / logging tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, ELK stack, distributed tracing.
• 
  Professional experience of cloud platform hosting via AWS / GCP as well via terraform / cloudformation / helm.
• 
  Rigor in high code quality, automated testing, and other engineering best practices.
• 
  Ability to make independent decisions and taking ownership for them beyond deployment.
• 
  You are a pragmatic programmer who understands what is needed to get things done in a collaborative manner.
• 
  Fluent English communication skills.

Nice to have:

• 
  Building, maintaining & running high traffic system in a microservice environment with kubernetes.
• 
  Experience in event-driven hexagonal architecture.
• 
  Superior knowledge in relational databases (ACID, isolation & index types, storage engines).
