Job description
Rule IoT is building a new home automation and Internet of Things application www.crosspointapp.com written primarily in Go that requires integrations with many popular IoT devices. We are looking for an experienced programmer to work from our Pasadena California office and help us build new integrations and maintain the application as it grows in scope and users.

Skills: Experienced mid to senior level application development programmer

A candidate must have the following:
● Experience with developing applications in Go
● Experience shipping and maintaining large and demanding applications.
● Excellent debugging, design and testing skills.
● Experience with Database management and design
● Experience developing applications in Linux
● Experience with GIT

An ideal candidate will also have the following:
● Skills in C#, C++, Objective C and Java
● Experience with IoT Devices
● Experience with authentication methods such as oAuth
● Experience with Postgres
● Experience with Apple and Android development and porting to Android
● Experience with CI/CD tools
● Experience with application monitoring and performance testing
● Experience with Jira, Bitbucket/Stash, TeamCity

Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with a remote team of developers across the world
● Meeting 2-3 times a week on voice calls and communicating each day on Slack
● Plan and manage the development of iOS, Android and web applications
● Design and implement various back end features, services or product components in Go
● Perform code implementation and code reviews
● Integrate 3rd Party IoT platforms
● Work with IoT devices to design and build out features
