Job description
Areas of Responsibility:

Development of our IoT platform with Go and React for the secure transmission of medical data from the patient’s device to the dashboard of the caregiver

Design, develop and integrate APIs for medical devices, front end as well as 3rd party Electronic Medical Records systems

Develop working applications across the full spectrum: from front end interface to APIs and databases, collaboration from the idea up to the functioning product

Participate in solution design, code reviews and QA

Skills & requirements
Your Profile:

At least 3+ years of experience in development and design of production systems

The Go Programming Language, its standard library as well as the library ecosystem and the respective tooling is not new to you

Strong knowledge of development of React based front ends with Flow, experienced with JavaScript and its library ecosystem and tooling including knowledge in modern web technologies (ES5/ES6, HTML5, CSS3)

Experience with automation of cloud infrastructure, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS) with Terraform

Knowledge about modern, distributed, event driven architectures (microservices), web protocols and stack, design and development of REST APIs

The following experience or knowledge is desired:

Successfully graduated in computer sciences – University, advanced technical college or college of higher education

Experience in the medical field

Test-driven development, unit testing and continuous integration

Programming languages such as Elixir, Ruby, Python or TypeScript are a plus

Relational and NoSQL databases – Message Queue systems

Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Packer, Ansible) and Linux

Fluent oral and written English is a must. Excellent language skills in German and other languages are an advantage
