Senior GO Developer

Location: Centerville, UT

We are in need of a Go programmer to assist us in building and maintaining the backend of our web application.

Roles and Responsibilities

Work with Technical Director and Front-End Developer to ensure all necessary endpoints and frameworks built in Go are scalable and performant.

Design and implement endpoints for front-end web application and client software.

Maintain Ruby on Rails product authentication tool for internal use.

Debug and troubleshoot database and endpoint problems that may arise.

Architect database in accordance with a user story design outline.

Write documentation for API endpoints and database structure.

Skills & requirements
Strong knowledge of the Go and Ruby programming languages.

Solid understanding of database architecture.

Someone who is a good team worker – someone teachable, can tackle problems on their own, and gives good feedback.

Experience working with Kubernetes clusters.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability to conform to existing coding standards.

Experience working in Visual Studio Code or similar IDE.

Experience working with GIT, SVN, Team Foundation, Perforce, or similar version of source control.

Knowledge of data management through C# and SQL.

Experience using tools such as Loggly, Charles Proxy, and Grafana.
