- Remote work is NOT possible
If you're an exceptional software engineer that excels when challenged to invent elegant solutions to really hard problems, let's talk!
Our flagship product is polymorphic versions of popular Linux distros. We deliver uniquely compiled packages for every customer for every download. Our packages use the same Open Source code as the official Linux repositories, but we randomize everything inside the binaries – instructions, registers, addresses, etc. This ground-breaking product delivers a Linux system that is immune to all memory exploit attacks – even those that have yet to be discovered or disclosed!
To deliver this product, we touch everything from Linux kernels to engineering massively distributed, fault-tolerant cloud services. We're looking to grow our elite team to share in our common goal: protect our customers by delivering high-entropy packages with the most reliable, scalable, cost-efficient, secure build farm and package repository serving system in the world, with quality and with an awesome customer experience.
Polyverse is a fast-growing, profitable startup based in the Seattle area. We do all this using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and the Go programming language. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, an exciting, flexible and fun work environment – and the challenge of revolutionizing the cybersecurity landscape. So if you’d like to use your software engineering skills to protect the good guys and bankrupt the bad, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Skills & requirements
Are you looking for a fast-paced workplace that constantly pushes you well outside your current skill set? At Polyverse, you might be asked to work on something completely different every week: modify a compiler/linker, develop a tool that measures entropy, optimization of a Linux build environment, new cloud scale-out scheduler capabilities. Our engineers are responsible for designing, coding, testing, deploying and production support; we don't have dedicated operations or test engineers. So if this sounds exciting, and you're fearless and a fast learner, you'll love working at Polyverse!
