Job description
This contract is for software development services needed to extend the DVID Image service (https://github.com/janelia-flyem/dvid) to it to authenticate with HBP Identity Service. The extended DVID image service must also allow role-based authorization on particular DVID image projects. As the DVID Image service is written in Go, the service provider must have demonstrable expertise in developing, modifying and optimizing performance sensitive data services in the Go language. Resulting code is intended to be contributed back to the open source DVID project.

Deadline for application is 2018-02-15.

Deadline for completion of the contract is 2018-03-31.

Skills & requirements

- Go backend service development experience

- Load testing experience


- Docker service deployment experience

- Medical / Research imaging or image processing experience

- Experience in Integration with Openstack Swift

- Open ID Connect integration or implementation experience
