Golang / Go Profile: Software Engineer (Golang)

Software Engineer (Golang) - Golang, Redis, IPFS, NoSQL, data structures

Located in: 🇮🇳 India â€º Bangalore
Looking for: Permanent / Freelance - Can work remotely

Biography
I am a blogger turned teacher turned software engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee (https://www.nirfindia.org/engg) with one year of development experience in building a distributed storage product in Golang (as of September, 2020).

I graduated in 2009 and have explored multiple careers since then (including teaching English for six years and blogging for five), before realizing that I loved software development.

I was responsible for three critical back-end components of the distributed cloud
storage product that I worked on in my previous company. The product is now in production.

I am looking forward to continue using Go to build useful, secure, scalable and easy-to-
extend tools.

In the long run, what really motivates me is becoming extremely skilled in using
technology to build something useful in the real world.

Skills
Go, Redis, IPFS, NoSQL databases, algorithms and data structures

What I look for
I'm looking for a position where I primarily get to code in Golang and where I can get the satisfaction of building something useful, secure, scalable and easy-to-extend. Building something with code that is actually going to be used makes me happy.
