About OptioPay

OptioPay is a payment processor with a difference. Our software increases the value of any payment received by consumers from companies, by combining bank transfers with higher value gift cards. By integrating payments to employees or customers with effective marketing we aim to create a completely new, performance based, advertising channel. Your Role

- To create and maintain (micro)services written in Golang and running on CoreOS
- To be part of an empowered and self-organizing SCRUM team
- To extend our restful API and data model which is managed mainly in Kafka and PostgreSQL
- To pair program and peer review solutions written by others to improve code quality and further knowledge sharing
- To help us reach more customers by integrating the OptioPay platform with banks, PSPs, insurances and other financial systems
- To run the code you build with your team on our clusters self-dependent

Skills & requirements
Your Profile

- You have at least 5 years of professional experience as software developer. Preferably you already worked professionally with Golang before
- You have a strong interest in API design and experience in creating externally used APIs
- You are experienced with tools like git, GitHub, Docker and have expertise in test automation such as Go Test and Jenkins
- You have some experience with Linux-based operating systems and bash scripting
- You are familiar and interested in distributed, scalable systems with high availability
