Biography
Lately, I have been working as a contractor, both as backend and full stack software engineer, and collaborating remotely with teams from several countries. As a software engineer at Petrobras, Brazil’s public-owned energy company, I was part of important projects for the company such as creating a custom financial forecast application for the board of directors, building the application used to plan the development of pre-salt production areas, and merging the solutions responsible for the operational costs of offshore and onshore production platforms. I also had the opportunity to propose and develop a data science solution that automated the estimation of technology contracts. Prior to my period at Petrobras, I was part of the team that developed derivative financial instruments for Brazil’s stock exchange.

Front End development with React, Flux, React Native, JQuery, and Backbone.js
Messaging: RabbitMQ, Apache Kafka, PubNub, and Pusher
Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB
Machine learning with R, Python and Google’s TensorFlow
Infrastructure using Docker, and Kubernetes
Cloud with Google’s GCP and Amazon’s AWS products

What I look for
Backend or full-stack engineer positions, independent of industry.
I favor remote offerings, however, if the technical challenges are interesting, I'll go anywhere in the word.
