## About the Role
As a Software Engineer at Autopilot, you'll be working on our cutting-edge AI-native Fintech Operating System. You'll be part of a fast-moving team building high-performance modern web applications that process and optimize financial data at scale. This is a unique opportunity to work with both modern backend and frontend technologies in a product that's rapidly expanding across multiple markets.
### 🛠️ Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable services using Go and gRPC
- Build responsive and performant frontend applications using React Router v7
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across our full stack
- Collaborate on API design and protocol buffer definitions
- Implement and optimize database queries and data processing pipelines
- Contribute to our observability and monitoring infrastructure
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
- Help shape our technical architecture and engineering practices
🎯 Requirements
As an early-stage startup, we’re seeking SWEs who:
- Have **≥ 5 years of working experience**
- Able to fully commit to our vision and mission
- Able to build quickly while maintaining a strong focus on scalable architecture
Technical Requirements:
- **Strong proficiency in Go**
- **Solid understanding of microservices architecture**, including best practices for designing scalable and maintainable systems
- **Familiarity with PostgreSQL**, including database schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
- **Experience with gRPC/Protocol Buffers** (or similar RPC frameworks) for efficient service communication
- **Understanding of distributed systems** and their challenges (e.g., fault tolerance, data consistency, scalability)
- **Experience with React and TypeScript**, enough to contribute to or collaborate on frontend projects when needed
🌟 Nice to Haves
- Knowledge of financial systems and payment processing
- Experience with AI/ML
- Experience with gRPC/RESTful
- Experience with high-performance, low-latency systems
