Job description
Sentient has built the largest compute grid dedicated to distributed artificial intelligence.

And we're making it bigger. Much bigger.

We're applying cutting-edge techniques in deep learning, computer vision, distributed computing, and evolutionary algorithms to solve problems in finance, e-commerce, healthcare, and other domains. Previously, the Sentient team led applications of AI and machine learning to diverse problems, from the CALO project that underpins Siri, to the design of new drugs.

Skills & requirements
Our stack is Go, Thrift, Angular, Docker, VirtualBox, PostgreSQL and Linux.

This is a 2-month contract role to start, but you just might want to work here forever.

You must have experience building multi-threaded and event-driven systems that use message passing and message queuing. You should have solid understanding of containers, virtual machines, data encryption and security concerns. You should have experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases at scale, and experience with Linux. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are highly desirable, as are great written and verbal communication skills.

Any US-based location is fine. We look forward to hearing from you.
