As a Web Developer at ZUMATA, you will help build applications that evaluate massive data sets while applying sophisticated algorithms. We develop on open-source technologies and our stack includes Go, Angular, Rails, Node, Java, Python, MySQL, Redis, Hadoop (soon), Couch, Git, and Jenkins.
We're currently an 8 member team looking for all-rounders/generalists who can work across our stack of technologies and be motivated to find innovative solutions to difficult problems.
It's an exciting time for the company, and every team member plays a key role:
Start-up environment with exploding revenues
Top quality developer talent (our CTO led Wego.com's technical development for 5 years)
Leading edge technology in the travel space, many first of their kind innovations that solve actual problems
Major global players integrating with our technology (several top 10 travel players globally – names you know)
Create solid, testable code
Optimize and scale your work artfully
Learn as you go, share cool stuff with the rest of us
We're looking for people who love to code, who love to solve problems, who love to work as a member of a high performing team, and who are excited by doing new things and creating useful technology.
