About the company
Our childhood education system is broken. The modern family is evolving at an electric pace, but our school system remains stuck in the 1930's. As a teacher, for over 15 years, CottageClass co-founder Manisha set out to rebuild education with the people who know it better than anyone else: teachers and parents. CottageClass is reinventing education and childcare through a community marketplace for microschools. We empower families to find personalized, affordable education and childcare started by teachers, parents and local experts in their communities. Our mission is to give every child the chance to thrive through a caring teacher, safe space to learn and healthy peer group. Investors include a co-founder of Airbnb, Learn Capital and Techstars NYC.
