Opportunity
You will join our Consumer Team responsible for building a new platform for our customers offering accurate and clear window into their account, as well as tools designed to bring the company new means to effectively communicate and market. You will appreciate user feedback and work with product owner to understand and react to it.
You will leverage your leadership and engineering qualities to build and lead a team of engineers supporting one of the most important business functions. You will provide guidance and establish yourself as a trusted source of expertise in solution design while remaining hands on and close to the ground.
There is a legacy platform in place today based on LAMP/Symfony stack. We have no desire to maintain it going forward. New solution will be based on react(+native) frontend, leveraging core framework maintained by our Platform SDK team. There is a need for CMS functionality where a headless solution is the preferred approach. Above frames are not set in stone, as a leader of the Consumer team you will take ownership of the domain and have autonomy to deliver the solution the way you believe is best.
Key responsibilities
1.Lead a team of full stack developers design and architect multi-channel platform solutions contribute ideas and influence business wide solution architecture innovate by staying on top of new tech own the entire development life cycle, from requirements to delivery and operation contribute to department wide tech culture
2. Low-ego, lead from the front approach leadership qualities, experience with building and running teams good hands on skill with an eye for both modelling and code architecture focus on engineering culture where test and automation discipline is high understanding of microservice/service oriented and distributed architectures understanding of event sourced and/or event driven architectures familiarity with development methodologies such as agile, lean or xp experience with container and container orchestration technology will be beneficial but not essential.

Experience with Golang, Distributed systems and Agile methodologies.
