Job description
Exciting opportunity to work for this large, diverse top ASX listed organisation in Melbourne who are currently seeking an experienced application support and development consultant to work on a web automation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the continuous integration of an in-house developed platform, troubleshooting and bug-fix software defects with supported applications as well as work with other local support on hardware and OS related issues. Candidates must have previous experience supporting and developing web applications in golang / beego within a Unix and Linux enviroment. The role will run on a 6 month rolling basis.

Skills & requirements
Key Skills and experience to include:
Degree qualification in Computer Science or similar
Experience with agile development methodology
Strong experience working within a devops culture
Knowledge of a modern programming language/framework, e.g. Python, JavaScript, Golang (Beego) , ebXML, XML Schema, PHP, SQL, Unix shell scripting
Demonstrable experience working in a Unix (Solaris) and Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu) environment
Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern, Beego, Golang, Selenium, Ansible, Python Flask and Django, CSS , RESTful web API, Perl Catalyst framework, HTML5
Strong application support and development skills and a willingness to learn new technology
Experience with the AWS/other cloud platforms, preferred but not necessary
