Job description
The Software Engineer role provides technical development expertise through designing, developing and deploying software solutions using Agile and Continuous Integration practices. This role will build new functionality to provide mission critical systems for our Global Network Operation center located in Manassas, Virginia. The Software Developer will test software solutions and demonstrate product functionality.

Skills & requirements
• Bachelor degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science discipline or equivalent experience preferred
• 3+ years of software development experience
• Experience with Go (Golang) development required
• Experience with Python development (Flask, Ansible)
• Experience with web stack technologies using JavaScript (Vue.js, Angular.js), CSS/HTML (Boot-strap, CSS3, HTML5) preferred
• Experience with C and Shell Scripting preferred
• Experience with API development and RPC transport (JSON, REST, gRPC, Protocol Buffers)
• Experience working with Docker preferred
• An understanding of authentication and security (OAuth, SSL certificates, PKI, JWT, HMAC)
• Experience with good software testing practices and a full understanding of unit and integration testing
• Experience working with Git
• Ability to work in a Network Operations environment with multiple teams
• Strong communication skills both writing and spoken in English, additional languages a plus
• Excellent organization and administration skills
• Experience in Agile development methodologies
