Job description
We’re leading the Industrial Internet of Things revolution by delivering a groundbreaking way to predict machine failure, enabling manufacturers to benefit from their existing data and new connected devices to automate predictive maintenance.

We are seeking an ambitious and versatile back-end software engineer to support the development and evolution of our web-based application. You will work closely with the wider development and R&D teams, taking on responsibility to develop new capability for our customers.

Our Stack includes:

Golang / Node / Java / Python backend

Mongo / Influx / Redis / Neo4j data storage

Microservice architecture

Angular frontend

AWS

Docker

Skills & requirements
You will have experience building complex applications with modern best practices (e.g. test driven development, continuous delivery, code reviews, …). You are also familiar with the building blocks of scalable cloud systems: Linux, Containers and (micro-)service oriented architecture. We like clean code, even when working on extremely hard problems under deadline pressure…and you test everything. You thrive working on the bleeding edge and can learn new technologies independently. Moreover, you’re excited to work on a technology agnostic architecture and learn new technologies and languages.

We are keen on engineers with a deep knowledge of software engineering principles: object-oriented design, algorithmic complexity, software design patterns combined with a passion for building high-performing systems. You must be comfortable in a culture of fast iteration and be attracted to complex problems. Experience working as part of a team on a rapidly growing application and codebase is ideal.

We’re looking for someone with at least a couple of years experience. Perhaps you’re currently a junior software engineer looking to step up to the next level? Or an experienced engineer looking to join a new exciting company?
