The Walmart Platform group is responsible for developing the Global Technology Platform that serves the foundation for Walmart’s Global E-Commerce websites.
Platform DevOps’ software engineers develop next-generation dashboards and tools that change how SiteOps triage complex site issues, how we track and measure Cloud deployments, and how developers test the resiliency and reliability of their application. We constantly ask ourselves how we can help others be more proficient and accountable, and deploy rock solid applications that can sustain all kinds of environmental instabilities. To tackle these fun problems, our engineers are required to be part system administrator/engineer, part network administrator/engineer, and part hacker. As a software engineer, you may work on the front end of a project, then switch to backend coding on another project within DevOps. We need our engineers to be versatile and always eager to tackle new problems as we continue to push technology forward.
