Job description
You. Yes, you. You’re smart. You know things. You do things. Looking for more things to do to keep yourself busy? IKM has things to do. Do what? We are looking to harness your knowledge, creativity, and overall awesomeness to build a skills assessment test for Go (Golang) Programming.

We know, we know: What’s awesome about a test? But this isn’t just a test. Your work will help improve a comprehensive solution used by hundreds of clients around the world to measure and benchmark IT knowledge. Your talent and insight will be used to help gauge skills and abilities for an entire industry. Interested yet? Maybe? How about this: The best part is you get to work from the comfort of your own home.

We are looking to fill several part-time, contract, telecommuting positions. Our authors and reviewers typically work nights and weekends over a 6-8 week period to prepare an assessment that, on average, consists of a pool of 150 questions. All work is done in an online tool, which is accessed through the company's website. Authors write original test questions and reviewers validate these for technical correctness. Some creative thinking and creative writing is involved. Compensation is based on the number of questions developed.

This work is to develop test questions that measure a candidate’s knowledge of the technology. It is NOT to work on our company’s system, or to develop software for us. Please understand this when applying.

Complete lists of tests we are currently developing and hoping to develop are available on our website: http://www.ikmnet.com/products/upcoming_assessments.cfm

Skills & requirements
Please have more than 5 years of experience with Go/Golang. Previous teaching and/or writing experience are big pluses.

Instructions how to apply
To apply, please send an updated cv/resume to: craig@ikmnet.com.
